Groot as in Kyle Roberts and myself. We are stop motion filmmakers with a serious love for “Guardians of the Galaxy” and the Marvel Universe. The above video is our fourth animated collaboration.
Kyle took more than 1,000 photos and combined my hand-drawn background to make a heartfelt tribute to the 2014 film’s final scene. Using a Hot Toys 1/4 scale Groot and Marvel Legends 6″ Drax, Kyle spent dozens of hours capturing the look and feel of the Marvel film. Oklahoma City-based musician Denver Duncan provided the Jackson 5 cover.
Expect more stop motion fun from us in the near future.
